No prior knowledge of Thai is required. We offer courses for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Each course will begin with a phonetics walkthrough (so that you are able to learn the language). If you have taken the phonetics lesson in any of our courses, you can skip that section when you take any of our other courses.

No, you can choose to skips levels as required, but there would be a short interview with our teachers to determine your current skill level as we want students in a specific class to be of similar standard. Also, if you have taken some lessons elsewhere, you will need to go through our phonetics walkthrough classes to learn the phonetic system that we are using at ThaiBridge.

Yes, our classes are primarily conducted in English or Chinese (different classes), especially when you are a beginner. However, they are only used to explain concepts and ideas. As you progress, more Thai will be integrated into the lessons to immerse you in the language. This is because one of the techniques of learning a language is not to translate, but to learn it from the ground up.

Yes, students who complete our courses and pass the final assessment will receive a certificate of completion. This currently only applies to the Thai Mastery Series course.

This is where we stand out compared to other regular language centers. We want you to learn as much as possible and love it when more foreigners pick up the Thai language. Hence, we try our best to not let you miss any lesson. We offer recordings of all classes for you to playback, and also allow you to join another class group for the lesson that you have missed. (Note that this is subjected to availability.)

Of course! Our teachers are all native Thai with good command of English / Chinese and many years (and decades) of teaching Thai Language.

Currently we only accept payment upfront. However, we are exploring the process of installment plans and payment with SkillsFuture / UTAP credits. Do stay notified by subscribing to our mailing list for further updates.

Our curriculum combines traditional teaching methods with immersive techniques, such as role-playing, real-life conversations, and multimedia resources, to ensure comprehensive language learning. We will also include language learning tips and tricks which we have collated over time for you to effectively pick up the language.

If it is your first time joining us at ThaiBridge, we have a phonetics walkthrough for every course we offer. This is the trial period for you to determine if our teaching meets your needs. When the topical syllabus begins, there will no more refund as we try to keep our class size fixed to account for the in-class activities.
